Product Introduction
The WS-TP type open/close porosity analyzer uses all stainless steel metal pipelines. It is a fully automatic analytical instrument that uses the gas expansion method to detect the open/close porosity, cut corrected open porosity, and cut corrected closed porosity of foamed materials, hard foam, core, metal and other materials. The instrument is mainly used in industries such as thermal insulation materials, sound insulation materials, metal materials, oil exploration, and can test polyurethane foam, phenolic foam, core, metal blocks, soil blocks and other substances.
2、 Working principle
Using Archimedes principle - gas expansion displacement method, small molecule inert gas (He or N2) is used as the medium. The volume of gas discharged by the sample in the test chamber is calculated using the ideal gas state equation: PV=nRT. The skeleton volume of the sample (including closed pores) is accurately measured, and the true density value is calculated based on the density equation: ρ=M/V.
The gas expansion displacement method is to replace liquid with gas to determine the volume of the sample being displaced. This method can avoid testing errors caused by sample dissolution in the immersion method and has the advantage of not damaging the sample. Because gas can penetrate the extremely small pores and irregular pores on the surface of the sample, the measured sample volume is closer to the true volume of the sample, which can be used to calculate the density of the sample, and the test value is also closer to the true density of the sample.

The sample tube directly serves as the testing chamber, which can effectively utilize the volume of the testing chamber and significantly improve testing accuracy. Sample tubes of different volumes can simultaneously meet the requirements of micro volume and large volume loading, in order to achieve the goal of improving testing accuracy;
Sample tube automatic installation, a unique sample tube automatic installation device, simply place the sample tube in the designated position, and the instrument will automatically install the sample tube to the connection port. After the test is completed, the sample tube will be automatically disassembled, making the operation more convenient and avoiding testing errors caused by manual installation of the sample tube.
Using original imported pneumatic valves instead of traditional solenoid valves, there is no heating problem, eliminating the impact of solenoid valve heating on testing accuracy;
