1、 Instrument Overview
The XQZ-II electric notch prototype is used as a sample preparation equipment for non-metallic material impact toughness testing on cantilever beam and simply supported beam impact testing machines. It can clamp 20 samples at a time and process more than 100 notches every 10 minutes. The size of the notches produced is accurate, with high efficiency and reduced operational strength.

The imported alloy steel cutting tools are made of special alloy materials, manufactured in Europe, specifically for the XQZ-II electric notch making prototype, and are used as standard sample notch making tools for processing impact tests on cantilever beams and simply supported beams.
Hardness greater than HRC60, surface roughness value less than Ra0.4, blade angle of 30 ± 0.1 °, capable of repeated grinding, and long service life.
A-type cutting tool: The notch size of the produced sample is 45 ° ± 0.2 ° r=0.25 ± 0.05
B-type cutting tool: The notch size of the produced sample is 45 ° ± 0.2 ° r=1.0 ± 0.05
C-type cutting tool: The notch size of the produced sample is 45 ° ± 0.2 ° r=0.1 ± 0.02
